Whispering Bob is doing Drivetime this week. I'll tune in on the way home. I hope i can hear his whispering above the sound of the train rattl;ing
I recall in past years, he plays a goodly selection on these shows |

I have in the past been fairly supportive of Chris Evans, but I am tiring of his frantic style
Any chance of R2 having Bob as the permanent Drivetime host?
A mellow drivetime is a nice thing |

Well, laugh all you want, but personally I can't wait for Steve to return to remedy this hotch potch of inferior shows and get back to some class radio entertainment! I'm sick of hearing Michael Jackson too...

Shaky start (Nickelback?! Surely not Bob's decision ) but the music's certainly improved since then. Good interview too. Also, he knows a damn sight more about his sport than the usual presenter of this slot! Glad Bob's back in this slot! |

I thought I'd never feel the Christmas spirit this year but Bob's show just gave it to me. Three cheers to him! |

The life of Alan Freed. Didn't do too well, did even worse with general knowledge - didn't know the name of Tony Blackburn's dog! _________________ Ron |

Yes my wife and tuned in to see Bob-shame he didn't do very well.
My wife has just asked me-didn't Ed Stewart have a dog on his show-I can't remember-did he? |

I thought he did ok with his subject but his general knowledge was not so hot.
Rick Wakeman is on it tomorrow. |

Agree-got to admire anyone for trying.
I think Richard Allinson should give it a go-his specialist subject could be music from the 80's or 90's. |

I'm sure it's much more difficult actually sitting in that chair than it is on a comfy sofa at home.
They could have a radio 2 special, Wogan's subject - Children in Need, Sarah Kennedy's - Cats |

None of tonight's contestants did very well on general knowledge but you have to give them credit for trying to raise money for charity.

What's not to like about 'rocks' - great accompaniment to sitting in traffic on the M1 outside of Gateshead. |
