We don't get many shows about the 80's on Two. |

Allinson Rocks -you bet he does.
For those amongst you who do not tune in to the must listen/best radio programme of the week this upcoming show/format is maybe a taster for you re Allinson's Albums which goes out every Saturday/Sunday on various BBC local stations.
Tune in to this show-you will not be disappointed I feel sure. |

In almost all cases when Allinson is depping he makes the show more listenable. That is especially true (in my very 'umble opinion, m'lud) at Drivetime Weekdays. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

Yes Richard Allinson is good at hosting most shows on Radio 2. Drivetime would be his home. Only if he was offered it. |

True, Mark O, there aren't many 80s shows on 2, but I think it's something that will gradually creep in, like they've done with that 'Dance season'. Give it a couple of years, and there could be Sounds of the 80s?! |

As for RA standing in I've rested my case as well.
I'm in favour of it. It's so nice to listen to a person who's (a) intelligent, (b) is very knowledgeable about the music he plays and (c) doesn't talk loudly and treat me like an idiot when the mic's open.
Yes, I like that Allinson bloke. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |
