So, tonight's show is fine and dandy and I'm not saying Johnny Mercer doesn't deserve a whole show devoted to him... but I'm missing the normal format. Last week we had a Ronnie Scott special, the week before it was Maida Vale, then before that it was Shirley Bassey...

Is it too much to ask for a regular, normal, varied show without the gimmicks?

The BBC CO website indicates three 'normal' shows are being recorded :

Friday 20 November at the Mermaid Theatre

Saturday 21 November at Fairfields Hall, Croydon

and with special guest Katherine Jenkins on Friday 4 December at the Mermaid Theatre
