I don't think Britian is Broken and tarring one isolated incident on every anti social thing happens is wrong. Broken Britian could also be tarnished with faults about Banking system in 2009, and other things happening. |

It all depends on where you live, what catches your eye and of course what you define as broken, but I'd have to agree... Britain is well on the way to being "broken".
Sounds terrible doesn't it? but some of the things our citizens do and the way we act, particularly the young, is frankly unbelievable to me!
I sometimes wonder if we've produced a generation who've lost the desire for simple enjoyment and respect for others... and as for our "leaders" .. the least said about them the better..
bit heavy I know.. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Seems a genuine case of blame the parents.
With different parents these boys, may still have not have grown up to be angels, but would not have committed such a gross act? _________________ -

This would definitely break Britain. http://www.pictogame.com/en/play/game/YrzKQDdHkr7w_dangerous-dave

David Cameron must really be barking if he blames this appalling act on Blair & Brown foe "creating a Broken Britain".
If we go along that route, the charming Fred & Rosemary West were the shinning result of years of tory misrule, as were the kids in the Bulger case.
It is the worst sort of political opportunism to try to make this a political issue & blame the government of the day for these crimes.
There have been similar cases throughout history. In which case every government is to blame.
As for david Camerons' attempts to force women to stay with abusive husbands by changing the tax laws to penalise single people even more- beyonfd contempt & downright dangerous |

I agree, it is so wrong to make a political point from this horrific case.
I don't remember anybody blaming Thatcher and the Tories for the Yorkshire Ripper. |

Exactly. It is tacky and disrespectful of the victims & relatives to try to make a political point out of these tragedies.
I think cameron may find he has got an own goal there & this will backfire |
