A nice surprise to hear Richard Allinson covering for Steve Wright earlier this afternoon.
Good music played, good chat-just how radio should be.
Steve's back tomorrow. |

I guess he's back today as Ken Bruce just said Steve is off again today.

Well, apologies to Mark Mayhew for making yet another post on R2ok!, but how nice to hear the very interesting Steve Wright back today instead of that dull, monotonous stand in yesterday.
I'll listen if I can find the time eh Mark? _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

I enjoyed RA yesterday, Santa. However if SW is back today then I'm off to play some Jerry Lee Lewis riffs on my Y*m*h* keyboard! |

I think it's funny how some of us preserve the BBC MB tradition of not printing trade names (actually, I don't think they're that fussed these days). _________________ Ron |

SantaFeFan-You need to get a sense of perspective old son.
Anyhow back on topic why did Ken Bruce give out false info in his show earlier today by advising Richard was in again for Steve Wright. I was bitterly disappointed when Wright pitched up. |

I always have to use asterisks when describing Steve Wright on public forums... |

Mark Mayhew. My sense of perspective as far as this or any other message board is concerned is that we all have our likes and dislikes regarding Radio 2 presenters.. some of us poke fun at those presenters but to my knowledge, I have never posted personal insult or assumptions against another poster.
Hopefully we can leave it there. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Right on, SFF. Saw the stuff on the other board and just wanted to say that this board would be a poorer place if it were not for your postings. _________________ Minx

It's a bad day when these things resort to personal insults, we all like / dislike different and varied things and we all should be allowed to voice our opinions without personal insults etc. |
