Strange that both Richard Madeley and SOTS had the Beatles' When I'm 64 today.
Rather poignant that in his mid-70s interview Paul Mc C looked forward to a happy 64th birthday with Linda still looking after him.

When the Brooks Brothers' "Warpaint" was played, it reminded me of my Dad, always trying to catch my eye so that he could give me a meaningful look whenever it was on ther radio.
I was always busy looking the other way as I got ready to go out! Happy Days! _________________ Minx

Was Anthony Quinn's 'I Love You' an inspiration for the Bonzos's Craig Torso Christmas Show?
When I heard this, I thought of Viv Stanshall saying 'I loathe you...' _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I missed that one Aviddiva, must have been between house and the car.
Loads of my favourites this week and great to hear Love Is All from Malcolm Roberts. Will try and listen again if I get time.

Rolf Harris's 'Ringo For President' ought to be reissued to tie in with the Ringo character in Neighbours!
'Why Don't We Do It In The Road?' always makes me think of my auntie needing to go to the toilet on a trip back from Bury on Boxing Day; she was 91 years old and ill, and she just got out and took a leak at the roadside!
The same song always springs to my mind whenever my 10-year-old niece forgets to go to the lav before a long car journey! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Heard only the first hour as it went out but am now currently listening to the second on the radio section of Video Plus.
These inconsiderate people who arrange meetings on Saturday mornings!

When Salena Jones's 'What Is This Thing Called Love' was, I had a rememberence of Martin Kelner referrring to this song as 'What Is This Thing Called, Love?' on Radio Leeds! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I checked it out before I posted just to be sure but I think they need a new researcher for SOTS!
Stop In The Name Of Love was a hit for the Supremes in 65 on the new Tamla Motown label and NOT in 64 as Brian said. Probably not his fault though.
