I'll start. A few tracks I haven't heard played on R2 for a long time, if ever in some cases. Which rarely played tunes would you like to hear?
Any era......
The Icicle Works - Evangeline
Simple Minds - Someone, Somewhere In Summertime
Heaven 17 - Let Me Go
Jesus Jones - Right Here, Right Now
Mental As Anything - Spirit Got Lost
Talk Talk - Living In Another World
Ghosts - The World Is Outside
Thrashing Doves - Jesus On The Payroll
Chris Rea - Josephine (La Version Francaise) |

Anyone who knows me from the R2 board will know I am a Peter Green fanatic. Everyone knows him for the Fleetwood Mac classics, but he wrote a lot of other stuff for them, and for In the Skies - his solo album.
I'd love to hear some of his lesser known tracks played. I did once get Paul Jones to play the full version of this on his show as the last track to play the show out:

I like the idea but the R2 records played is so limited I could name 1,000s I've never heard on there. |

Indeed, but out of those 1000's, which ones would you like to hear the most? |

I'd like to hear the Icicle Works's 'Evangeline' again - since Toymaster used in in their commercials, it reminded me of the run-up to Christmas.
Their Best Of was an excellent compilation. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Badge by Cream and Drive my Car by the Beatles have had quite a few plays on Sounds of the 60s but I've certainly not heard any of your other suggestions on Radio 2 |
