Did anyone watch this.
I caught up yesterday on the iplayer last night, thought it was pretty good, a bit of a weepy (although to be expected with the subject matter)
Tennent great as usual starting to shed the Dr Who mantle _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |

I thought it was good too. I couldn't imagine David Tennant playing the part of a dad after being Doctor Who, but he did it well. The accident was so real, I could never ride a bicycle these days. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

I watched it with wife, mum and mum-in-law; I had to keep passing the box of Kleenex around.
I suppose it was nice to see David Tennant handling a different sort of role but it did seem a bit clichéed and derivative. There are three more episodes to come; perhaps there will be a few unexpected twists and turns. _________________ Ron |
