This four-week-old hedgehog has been rescued from certain death after it was found on a building site. It is being cared for by the Shepreth Wildlife Park in Royston, Herts

Such a little poser!
Not sure that it's not cruel to keep a hedgehog in a mug, Still, it's better than in a packet of crisps...

Lovely picture Becky. I've been feeding a visiting hedgehog for the last few months (tinned cat food in jelly not gravy, Spike's Dinner hard biscuits, dried meal worms & half a rich tea biscuit soaked in water).
I've put the hedgehog house with a layer of newspaper and a few dry leaves in the undergrowth. It was nested in two winters ago but not last winter and I'm hoping it will be used this time. |

shepreth wildlife park is not far from me, it is a great place to visit if anybody is ever in the area. |
