Friday I heard that "Flood" rubbish by Take That three times on Radio 2! no wonder I'm listening less lately...
Mind you, Eloise is a great song so that's ok...
I can't agree with you about Tony.. I think he's doing a fine job as he always did.. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
I have heard how radio should be. |

Yes, I agree with you. His style is exactly what the show's format needs. True, it's an old-fashioned format but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that in my view. |

I think it will sound even better live. I agree with the above. He's doing a find job whether it's recorded or not. |

pd bmn: Eloise was indeed played twice today. I guess any duplication is due to SOT60s being planned and recorded weeks in advance.
The Good The Bad And The Ugly also featured on both shows and I don't mind because that too is a fine tune.
Tony Blackburn is better than I thought he would be, and he was surprisingly complementary about Hendrix, as Jimi is not Tony's sort of music. He's informative (as Dale was) and anecdotal, though I don't see why he had to curtail The Beedles' Hey Jude. Long songs don't have to be cut short.
Yes, he really did say Beedles, cheesy as ever! |

Dale has played the year in the past few months, but it's a different style that matters. I really enjoying Tony at the helm. |
