Just driving home, I heard another section of their very enjoyable show but was lucky enough to hear two Stones songs in a row.
"I Wanna Be Your Man" and "It's all Over Now"
I whammed the volume up to my wife's annoyance but sod that! you don't hear all 1 minute 48 seconds of I Wanna be your Man much on the radio these days..
They both remind me of going to our local Roller Skating Rinc where these songs were blasted out on a Friday night back then.
Will pop music ever be this good again? _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

I think you're right Helen..
Listening to that track pretty loud, I was quite amazed by Bill's bass work! he's flitting all over the place banging out a great bass backing which I've never really noticed before.
Great to hear you on the Vine show by the way! I pounced on the radio telling everybody to shut up! well done! _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Well Vernon Kay has the teeth for it anyway, but will it be the same as the Evans show. That was one of the best gameshows of the 90's. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Ken Bruce - for once not on holiday. I think he had 10 weeks off this year leaving Aled, Davina, Mark Goodier, Alex Lester and others in charge. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
