Congratulations are due to James for surpassing Sir Ian Botham's England wicket record yesterday against the West Indies.
Six hundred and sixty-five men have played Test cricket for England, but when it comes to taking wickets, one man stands alone.
Step forward James Anderson, the Lancastrian swing bowling master who on Friday surpassed Sir Ian Botham's England record with the 384th Test wicket of his sparkling career.
It has been 12 years since Anderson made his Test debut and his road to the record has not been without mishap.
This is his story - from Burnley beginnings to beating Botham's record - told by those who know him best......

A mention also for Adam Peaty who "set a stunning 100m breaststroke world record on the penultimate night of the British Swimming Championships in London"
We don't get many of those!
