Sarah Kennedy is recovering from pneumonia and hopes to be back on the Dawn Patrol soon. She wants to thank everyone who has contacted the show to wish her well.

It is an illness that can creep up on people over time without them being aware of it. Best cure is time off & rest. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Let's hope not TOO much time off. I fear Lesley Dudglass is planning to get Davina to cover the DP _________________ MiS |

Reading that back, I realise it might look as if I was saying Phew because it's not Sarah. Far from it. I meant Phew it's not Davina, or Aled!
I hope Sarah recovers fully, and soon. |

I don't believe this-I think this a ruse to detract us away from believing she is utterly hopeless.
Personally I thinked she was pissed on air. |

To be honest I would like to see Sarah Kennedy retired off Radio 2 completely.
Richard Allinson should be brought in as the permanent replacement. |

How on earth does virtually every topic get turned round to Richard Allinson? |

He's covering Tuesdays show and Aled Jones is still listed on her homepage. Wednesday onwards looks like a ? as Sarah is still listed. |

Its the big finale week of BB this week. Davina, Russell & Dermot will be off on their holidays no doubt after it finishes. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Russell has been off and Pete Burns was covering for him. What a state "it" was. |

Back to Sarah, it was slightly unfeeling of Richard this morning, in relating that her OH had sent an email saying she was better and doing her VAT return. "Can't be much wrong with her if she's doing her VAT return!" he said. _________________ Ron |

Yes, I heard that as well. It confirms the strength of feeling about this whole thing in the R2 camp at BH, I think.
And, with the money she gets paid, I'm surprised she doesn't let her accountant do it for her. Her OH, the so-called Much Beloved, has a successful business up in Northants, so maybe his accountant could do her accounts for a modest fee? |

Good News!
Alice Richardson will be doing the dawn patrol again next week so that Sarah can recuperate ( from doing her VAT return) _________________ Geddon

I much prefer RA in this slot, too, it will be a pity when his temporary residency comes to an end. |

I'll be very pleased when Sarah returns, though Alice is ok.
Glad to know that SK's recovery is continuing. _________________ MiS |
