I'm sure will be hearing more of Zoe in the coming years on Radio 2. |

I sure as hell hope not Mark, I certainly won't be listening.
The content of her 'gabble' is aimed at an audience way too young. Something I heard today on the show confirmed that, but I can't remember what it was.
The BBC want to remember that the population is aging, it's a fact, and there will very soon be no music radio station suitable for them to listen to.

That would suit me fine. I don't listen to R2 on Sundays.
I thought she was dire. She irked the hell out of me when she was wittering on with Danny Baker on Saturdays (Baker would have been much better on his own) so to allow the bint to fly solo is a real turn-off for me. |

She was better than I was expecting her to be, she does talk a bit fast though and sometimes it's hard to understand what she is saying.
All in all not too bad I suppose. |

As I've noted on the relevant thread, I was pleasantly surprised at how much Baker has mellowed from the "shouty barrow-boy" type I remember of old. If he did do regular cover for Wogan, then based on what I've heard recently I wouldn't mind at all, in fact since WUTW is a tierd, warmed-over shadow of its former self it might even be an improvement!. |

I have enjoyed the lovely tones of Zoe. She handled the job well. Even Pop-master was great.. |

Well I only heard Friday's show but oh so much better than the dreadful Ken Bruce.
Why are they letting him back. |

I really can't see how you can call Ken dreadful. Yeah, there's no glamour in his shows but they're well made pieces of daily bread that I'd be sad to be without. He's humble, knows his music and knows his own mind. He's not 'breakfast' or 'drivetime' material but coffee breaks between 9.30-12pm would be a poorer time without him. |

He also has a great sense of humour and is witty, and doesn't rely on texts.
I guess he's thought of as dreadful because he fills a show that could be filled by you know who as do SK, TW, SW, CE etc etc |

I thought Zoe Ball was fine - at least I didn't rush to switch over to Radio 4 when I heard her voice as I do when Ken Bruce is on. |

I totally agree I can't see why people dislike Ken. He's very attractive to the mid mornings and has a great following. |

We DON'T all share the same tastes.
Zoe Ball was excellent in the slot last Friday. |
