That is indeed the question. How long before he remembers what it is about breakfast shows that he didn't get on with at his previous two attempts at one?

I think Drivetime has been his longest stint in one slot - 3 and a half years! Looking to the future, I can't even begin to picture what the BBC will be like in 20, or 10 for that matter, years' time. I'll be impressed if Chris sticks at it over 5 years.
Anyway, I thought this was worth posting. Gillian Reynolds pays a glowing tribute, before going off on a slight tangent.:
