Listening to Gerald Jackson ( sadly not broadcasting on Radio Lancashire anymore) over the last few weeks,Helen,he mentioned the snowfall (Bolton way) quite a few times.
Seems we've been quite lucky. |

Snow showers on and off most of the day here.
Not as bad as just down the road though where the match between Burnley and Spurs has been called off because of snow. |

It's been snowing most of the morning here too Becky. Not lying on the roads though. I've been out today and need to go out again. I have to be out most of tomorrow too, so I hope there won't be too much more!

We woke up to a covering of snow this morning, with a big frost. The storm overnight Friday and all day yesterday was very scary. I am glad the amount of rain we had wasn't snow instead.

After Storm Eunice yesterday, which thankfully wasn't as bad here as it was in other places,today we had snow.
Heavy downfall for a while this morning that looked as if it would settle.
All change this afternoon.
Lovely blue skies and sunshine with very little snow remaining. |
