I wonder what that means for example, Radcliffe & Maconie?! And what about Steve Wright? Can he manage without a 'posse'? I thought that was the way R2 was supposed to be going! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I think she was meaning chatting to the traffic presenter and newsreader was frowned upon. I suppose the shouty one will still be allowed to do this though as his show sounds like it has been built around it. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

The Shouty One who presents the "Interactive fun for all the family" show wouldn't be able to do a show without it. |

The BBC could go the whole hog and stop Ken talking to Lynn. Only solution Traffic News out of the news? |

Is was Sarah who stayed in bed with the cold, and Richard Allinson breaking the dawn through the radio today 16th June. He said " Get well soon as your disrupting so many lives" |

I've noticed that Sarah Kennedy has been standing in for Richard Allinson rather a lot lately on Dawn Patrol. Has he been suffering bouts of illness? |

Mark,
It's been explained to you elsewhere as to why the travel news goes out over the weekend, because of pre-recorded programmes.
IMHO there is nothing wrong with having Lynn chatting with Ken on the show.

Looks like Sarah is grooming a cold or whatever, and looks like Richard is in for the rest of the week and Aled Jones is covering Monday and Tuesday next. |

That's an odd expression "grooming a cold". Is she brushing it and giving it a rub down?
Get well soon Sarah, Allinson is ok but just doesn't have the same clout ! _________________ MiS |
